One Billion Moles

Dear Associates,

The celebrations have begun! Our centers in India will soon be reveling in the Annual Day events that have been planned with variety and aplomb!

[Stewie interrupts]

Ha ha ha! Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. You are the weakest link goodbye. You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. Hmm. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference, reference that outside the program before. Because that's what he says on the show right? Isn't it? You are the weakest link goodbye. And, and yet you've taken that and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. God what a clever, smart boy you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. That's so fresh too. Any, any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me too as long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. God you're so funny!

Oh...(looks at a shotgun)..i've never handled one of these before..Oh yes!!.....This is my rifle...This is my gun...This is for fighting..This is for fun.

Dishkao.

Silence.

Oops.

[/Stewie]

In order to recognize your efforts towards helping script this suck-excess, we have arranged for tokens of our gratitude to be presented to you.

[Stewie interrupts, again]

Let me guess, you picked out yet another colorful box with a crank that I'm expected to turn and turn until OOPS! big shock, a jack pops out and you laugh and the kids laugh and the dog laughs and I die a little inside.

You Imbecile!!

[/Stewie]

Those of you who have been with us for the longest and were employed with us prior to the day when I pooped in my diapers will receive an

[Stewie interrupts, yet again]

An iPod!!...so you can listen to The Streaks while you gasp for air!!................Oh The Strokes, right.

Hmmm, enough! Damn you all!

Victory Shall be mine!!

Dishkao.

With best wishes.

What does it mean to be a Human?

The views expressed here are solely from the point of view of a Human Being. This doesn't necessarily represent the views of my fellow specie-mates. It is just one of my many humble attempts to understand the human psyche.

I am a human being. Which means that on a routine "human-day" i get to - Eat, sleep and drink CocaCola?. No, thank evolution for small mercies. Our faculties have evoloved/developed over a long period of time, and thanks to evolution and all that, we can do a few more things other than just sip on colored-aerated water.

So, what are your extra privileges on being born as a human? And what does it mean to be a human? Hmmm, It does not require much thought, now does it! There is only one word which comes to my mind. Confusion. Utter, pure, CMM Level 5 Confusion(nevermind if you did not get that). The dictionary defines it thus - "a mental state characterized by a lack of clear and orderly thought and behavior".

Let us now proceed to dissect and analyze the definition.

"a mental state" - Well, we all have a mind (or so i believe is the common perception, barring a few Bush-es and shrubs and such other forms of flora) , and the mind can be found in different states; these states are brought about by different contexts; the issue of context here is important. The context decides the "state" of the "mind". The brain produces the relevant chemicals which determines the "state" of our "mind". The context decides which chemical is to be produced by the brain. So...it is important! The "in" chemical seems to be "Dopamine". You get to read about it almost everywhere - tabloids, magazines, journals, and even dating sites!. Ok, maybe i am deviating just a bit. Sorry about that, blame it on my current dominant chemical. And no, its not dopamine.

"lack of clear orderly thought and behaviour"- now "lack of ..." is something which we humans have in abundance. I mean, we "lack" a lot of things, like for example - "lack of perception", "lack of tolerance", "lack of understanding" et cetera. We are a constant reminder to ourselves of the things that we lack. And of the many things that we lack, "clear and orderly thought and behaviour" is one thing which we seem to be constantly, endlessly deprived of. But why, oh why? Again, its a mind-body thing. Your thoughts control your behaviour. You have happy thoughts - you buy others chocolates; You have bad thoughts - you buy others chocolates and finish them yourself. So, thoughts seem to be the main culprit here - the lack of it or vice-versa.

to be contd...

Neuf : Part Un

A little hope,
A little dope.

Some of that ignorance,
And oh yeah, that false pretense.

Throw me my mask here,
Wait, let me have my last beer.

This ain't rhyming,
Let me change the timing.

Justification of Propaganda

All of us have certain convictions; we live by a set of principles, ideals and moral guidelines. Why? It is, because, we think that is the right way, the only way to live(i.e this is how we justify our being). If i were to be cognizant of a higher/better "truth" (or so I lead myself to believe that), should i convince/force-upon the same on my fellow people? Will doing so negate the very essence of their being - A life without a personal preference/choice (whether it is good or bad for their being); without the freedom to formulate thier own law for themselves...

Should we or should we not respect the decision making capacity of individuals and let them be (for their own good or bad)...Should we take it up upon ourselves to decide what it is good or what is bad for others?

Is propaganda justified ? Does it need to be justified?
